La Fonda on the Plaza has a long-standing tradition of giving back to the community we love. For over 100 years our employees have been the bedrock of our success. We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new foundation focused on supporting the needs of our amazing team and their families!
What is La Fonda Foundation?
New Mexico has much to be proud of…plentiful assets, exceptional culture and history, resilient and self-reliant people, and a robust philanthropic community. There is much to improve as New Mexico experiences increasing income disparity and ranks poorly on many key social metrics countrywide.
La Fonda Hotel represents over 100 years of culture and community in Northern New Mexico. The microcosm of Hotel employees and their families is a proxy for many in New Mexico. The goal of La Fonda Foundation focuses on increasing social mobility and driving systemic change, first for those affiliated with the hotel, then expanding to include others in the community. By working with other local philanthropic organizations and adding complementary services we plan to move the needle and make a difference. We need your help.
