Discover the spirit of chocolate!

Chocolate first made its North American debut one thousand years ago in New Mexico's Chaco Canyon. New Mexico has a long history of chocolate dating back nearly 1000 years when the Anasazi traded chocolate with the Mesoamericans for turquoise.

On this tour you will learn more about the rich history of chocolate and experience delicious tastes from the many amazing chocolatiers in Santa Fe.  You'll even have a chance to drink it in the same fashion as the Aztecs and Mayan would have made it hundreds of years ago.

Discover the interesting ways Santa Fe's chocolate shops infuse local ingredients like chili, piñon nuts and lavender into their chocolate creations. The Chocolate Tour will visit several local shops to showcase their delicious offerings and intriguing stories.
