The Historic Hotel Enters the Luxury Rental Market by Adding 26 Units to its Offerings
SANTA FE, N.M. (Feb. 28, 2023) – La Fonda on the Plaza is thrilled to announce Santuario by La Fonda, 26 luxury vacation rentals now part of the La Fonda portfolio. The luxury units include one, two and three-bedroom accommodations with sizes ranging from 340 to 2,440 square feet – all located near the hotel in Santa Fe’s historic downtown commercial district. After celebrating its centennial anniversary in 2022, the landmark hotel is pleased to supplement its current offerings by adding a completely new way for guests to experience La Fonda’s hospitality. The 26 units, developed by local Santa Feans Marc Bertram and Andy Duettra, were previously being managed by AdobeStar Properties.
“The opportunity to assume the management of reputable and established vacation rentals so close to the hotel doesn’t come around often,” states Rik Blyth, Vice President and General Manager of La Fonda on the Plaza. “AdobeStar Properties has a long history of customer focused, community-driven engagement in Santa Fe. With experience managing luxury properties – all within the commercially zoned historic district – their units were a natural fit for La Fonda.”
Santuario, meaning sanctuary in Spanish, offers both space and privacy for guests throughout downtown Santa Fe. The high-end units are just steps from some of Santa Fe’s most desirable attractions including the Plaza, Canyon Road, the Santa Fe Farmer’s Market, and the city’s best restaurants, museums, and shopping. Comprised of four compounds: Agua Fria, Delgado, Water Street and The Lincoln – the units range from cozy casitas to three-bedroom condos designed to evoke a modern take on traditional Santa Fe style. Guests can expect a true home away from home experience with each lodging unit evoking unique charm.
