From the moment we arrived (3 hours before check-in time), everyone was so friendly and the front desk clerk got us into our room without hesitation. The hotel is so inviting and everyone was very accommodating. We truly enjoyed our stay and the atmosphere is just amazing. We are planning another trip to Santa Fe later this summer, and we will stay at La Fonda.  No need to even consider another hotel. We LOVED it. A great experience.

Great room on the 5th floor – near the Bell Tower bar, which has a wonderful sunset view. The band that played in the lounge our 2nd night was wonderful! I have never had so much fun listening to music!

Absolutely wonderful to be on the Plaza!  Had one of the best vegetarian entrees I have every enjoyed (roasted red pepper, polenta and a tamale) in your La Plazuela restaurant.

La Fonda is quite simply the greatest hotel in the world.  Keeping the old world charm while providing great service and amenities is a tough balancing act.  You do it with ease.  The rooms are really remarkable.  All the charm of the original hotel, but clean, well-maintained, and the bed was heavenly.  The Gift Shop attendant was like a mini-concierge – knowledgeable and willing to answer questions about nearby attractions.  And what a beautiful restaurant!  We ate there twice; once for breakfast and once for dinner.  We enjoyed both meals.  There are many fine restaurants in Santa Fe, and that’s a big reason we come so often, but the hotel restaurant is quite nice and not a step down, as so many hotel restaurants can be.

From the moment I checked in and throughout my stay the staff (from the desk clerk, to the bartender, to the waitresses, to the concierge) all provided superb service.  They made what could have been a very stressful trip for me due to family illness both calm and enjoyable.  It was evident that they were sincerely interested in making my stay as pleasant as possible.  Please give my thanks to all the staff, and congratulations to your organization for creating an atmosphere where staff are able provide quality and caring service.

We spend spring break in Santa Fe every year. This is the second year we stayed at La Fonda. We love it here! We will be back next year. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. Great room for the price. Wonderful food and service at a reasonable price.

The hotel is vastly improved from our last visit in 1997. The public areas being the highlight, but the room was well decorated, large and very user friendly. It has the same feel as our favorite hotel in the world, the Ahwahnee Lodge in Yosemite National Park.

Our weekend with you on The Terrace concierge level was a smash success by any measure. I suspect you will see many of my guests again soon – yes, me included. The accommodations were superior and the service was superb. The people there made all the difference and the hotel itself was a wonder. We had a blast. The Terrace Gathering Room amenities and other touches were so welcoming and generous; you made us feel right at home. What a fantastic hotel and staff you have! I was not prepared for the extra little touches that set a fine hotel apart from a good hotel. Your attention to detail was evident everywhere, from all of the pillows on the bed to the chocolates at turn-down. And the layout of the hotel was quite intriguing - my particular room was in an ideal location. I could reach many of the meetings I was attending by going up a half-flight of stairs, or the lobby by going down one flight. I never used the elevator except for my luggage!  I had more available lighting than I can ever recall in a hotel room. Loved it.

The outstanding service began when we first arrived and Dave checked us in. We loved our room--beautiful and comfortable. Even the housekeeping staff was great. One gentleman went out of his way to make us feel welcome. I regret not getting his name, but he was wonderful.  I was at a conference being held at La Fonda and all the meals there were delicious!
