La Fonda has more than 15,000 square feet of meeting space available for banquets, conferences, exhibits, parties, weddings and receptions. The largest of La Fonda’s meeting facilities is the Lumpkins Ballroom (above and at right), which offers 6,560 square feet of space which can accommodate up to 600 people. It can be divided so that exhibits can occupy one side while a seminar, cocktail party or banquet for up to 250 people takes place in the other. Special Santa Fe design features include kiva fireplaces, sand-painting ceiling murals, carved beams, authentic Mimbres designs, and handmade tin and stained glass chandeliers. For small meetings, receptions and banquets, the Santa Fe Room (below) is perfect. The adjoining New Mexico Room is popular for larger events and many groups combine the rooms for events. The Exchange Room, Board Room and Stiha Room are excellent for “break out” meetings and small group functions. All meeting rooms have high-speed Internet access with both wireless and ethernet connections. Our experienced sales and convention services staff oversees every detail of your meeting and works hard to provide the service that is essential to the success of every event.
