Art and Architecture

Santa Fe, for decades, has been a sought after destination for unique architecture, style, talented artists, and historic charm—but it’s nice to be officially ranked 7th in the world as a “Top Art and Architecture Destination.” In a survey conducted by, Santa Fe was identified as one of the top ten cities in the world known for their iconic sense of design.

La Fonda has been setting the Santa Fe standard when it comes to art and architecture for decades.  And it’s definitely on my mind as we shift our focus to our exciting guestroom renovation scheduled to begin in January 2013.

I couldn’t be more pleased with our architect, Barbara J. Felix, who spearheaded the award-winning 2009 renovation of our restaurant, La Plazuela.  We look forward to working closely with Barbara and her crew as we prepare to begin this major renovation project that highlights La Fonda’s spectacular art and architecture.

I thought I’d share a glimpse of what a few of our guests have found visually stunning at La Fonda.

I like the photo of the Cathedral in the window. Actually, all the photos make me want to come for lunch.
    Great Post.

    Soon, I hope.
The production of WORKING opens next week and I am really “into” time constraints.
